Morris Bart grew up in the New Orleans area, graduated from UNO in 1975 and received a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in 1978. Law school honors include: President of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity; Blue Key National Honor Society; and the Am Jur award for academic excellence. Early this morning, Monday, February 27th, the Charleston Police Department was advised by the Mount Pleasant Police Department that they had arrested a Charleston Police Officer for driving under the influence.
